The Innovation for Development Foundation – I+D – is a privately funded, independent and nonpartisan think and do tank, established in 2022 to promote young leaderships, advance analysis and design policy proposals aimed at ensuring sustainable development, the integrity and efficacy of institutions and the progress of individuals and their communities, through plural and constructive discussions.
I+D is platform where private sector associations, government officials, experts and non-governmental organizations convene to address current challenges, exchange information and prepare proposals that will guide decision making processes on issues that impact the whole of society.
The Foundation works alongside business leaders, civil society, multilateral organizations and academic institutions. It is actively associated with other foundations, institutes and networks, building partnerships that provide added value to the public agenda through evidence, case studies, expert knowledge and international standards.
I+D is based in Bogotá, from where it strongly engages with the various regions in Colombia as well as relevant actors in the Americas and Europe; it is a highway for information, transformation, public diplomacy and dialogue devoted to building public value, closing gaps and generating sustainable growth and well-being.
