Nicolás Galeano

Photographer, producer and audiovisual director

With over 30 years of experience y audiovisual communications management, with an emphasis on documentary photography and advertising. Was the audiovisual director during Ivan Duque’s presidential campaign. Lead the audiovisual team at the Colombian Presidency between 2018 and 2022, where he registered a significant chapter of Colombian history, challenged by the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting complex social and economic situation, among others. His photographs make part of the institutional archives and may be found in a number of publications.

Political Scientist at Universidad Javeriana and MA in Analysis of Political, Economic and International Issues at Universidad Externado de Colombia. Committed to public diplomacy and democracy; global governance and regional politics enthusiast.

Has been advisor for Events and Protocol at the Concordia Summit; Social and Protocol Secretary of the Colombian Embassy in Washington D.C. and Advisor to the Directorate of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Relations.
